Message from Erin Geddes:
I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has supported me since finding out I was selected for u20 Canada team and those who have been there for me since day one. I can’t even put into words how thankful and appreciative I am of all the donations and kind words passed onto me over these past two weeks including the generous donation from LRFC. I am beyond grateful to be apart of such an amazing club, whose generosity and support over the years has helped me grow into the player I am today. I wouldn’t want to call anywhere else home. ❤️
I learned so much and I will never forget those who helped me get to where I am now. I was able to fully fund my tour cost through the help of my family, friends, and the Lindsay Rugby club. For that, I am eternally grateful.
Looking back, this was such an amazing opportunity and I am so thankful to have experienced it with such a great group of girls and coaches.
Forever a Lady G,
Erin Geddes
One of our women’s team players, Erin Geddes, was selected a few weeks ago to represent the Canadian u20 team that is currently traveling in England until the 27th of this month. The Canadian girls are playing in a 3 game test series against the England opposition.
This is an amazing opportunity for Erin, but was not covered by Rugby Canada and took a lot of fundraising so she could be a part of the tour.
The Lindsay Rugby Club was more than happy to support Erin in her journey, as the club donated $500.00 towards her fundraising efforts.
Pictured are club President Rob Brouwer and Treasurer Dennis Newman presenting Erin with a cheque.
We all love photos. And if anyone wants to send us photos to use on the website, we are always happy to accept and post them. We’ve just recently posted some photos taken by Deb Shea and her father. Check them out on our photo page!
Now isn’t this a photo showing the fun of rugby?
Thanks to Brent Buckley for organizing another great Curling Bonspeil this past winter and thanks to everyone that came out to support the Rugby Club and Boys and Girls Club. Big Success!

Sunday is our night for Bingo Bingo to support the junior programmes at the club. As a revenue generation, it has been the mainstay of the juniors but is in decline. We need to support Bingo, so consider once or twice this season to get a group of friends together and go to Bingo Bingo on a Sunday. See our calendar here.
