We are proud of the improvements that we have made and continue to make on a yearly basis. The LRFC is a not-for-profit group that has a small and dedicated volunteer staff and we will do everything our power to make your event stress free and enjoyable. We have a wealth of experience in event planning and we are willing to answer any questions and provide assistance with your event. We have contacts with reputable DJ services, Caterers, Tent rentals, ticket printing and even stage and sound for outdoor concerts.
We are located at 67 Vince Jones Rd, City of Kawartha Lakes. On most GPS it comes up as Dance Hall Road or Greenway Rd despite the fact that it has been officially changed to honor our founder the great Vince Jones. We own 100 acres with a 5000 square foot banquet hall that has a fully licensed bar. The facility also boasts a westerly exposed 35 by 50 patio. Our capacity is 300 inside and 40 on the patio. It also has an old farm house residence with a bright red (newly restored) drive shed barn. We have a large practice pitch (perfect size and layout for outdoor events) and a full professional size and quality athletic field.
2018 Event Rentals*
Sunday to Friday (week night) event rentals
- $300.00 with bar and more than 80 people
- $400.00 with no bar or less than 80 people
- Available from 12 noon day of
Saturday Event rentals
- $500.00 with bar and over 80 people
- $750.00 without bar or less than 80 people
- Access from 10 am day of
- $850.00 with bar and over 80 people
- $1000.00 with no bar or under 80 people
- Exclusive use of property and grounds from Friday at 10am until Sunday at 2 pm of the same weekend
All rentals include
- Use of Main Hall, Kitchen, Patio and tables and chairs
- Bar service to be provided by LRFC and its Social Group. This service is provided, manned, insured and supplied at no additional cost to renter.
- Bar closes at 1 am and all guests are to be gone by 2:30am. Any over time will be charged at 100.00 per hour.
- 250.00 damage deposit must be paid 2 weeks before event
- Fundraising/bar split options are available

Notes and FAQ
- 330-person max inside capacity
- 50 percent deposit to be paid with contract signing no date shall be saved without signed contract
- Hall and grounds must be left in an as found condition to avoid extra clean-up charges.
- We have 25 x 60-inch round tables and 200 folding plastic banquet chairs. (new 2016)
- Table coverings available to rent. (white floor length) $10 per table
- ZERO Athletic use of sports fields will be tolerated or covered in insurance
- Any special requests for bar selection, grounds usage and staffing must be discussed prior to contract
- We do not include or guarantee exclusive use of property (i.e. sport fields) for interior hall event rentals.
- Bar menu and prices available upon request. $5.00per bottle corkage fee on table wines for weddings.

- If you require use of grounds or exterior please ask all questions at time of booking. We do not include or guarantee exclusive use of property for interior event rentals.
- Balance of rental fee is due at arrival of renter on the start of the day of the event (not at the end).
- Please ask if you have any special requests for bar selection, grounds usage, and staffing prior to contract signing. All deposits are non-refundable and no date will be confirmed without one.
