As part of the celebration of Vince and his contributions to rugby in this area, we would like to ask spectators can come to Lindsay Rugby Club for 5.00 pm, wearing red yellow or black tops;  We are going to make up Vince’s famous smiling “V” logo and take an aerial photograph.

Following this ,  in honour of our past founder, and the tradition of Barbarian sides playing tourists;  players from Oshawa Vikings, Peterborough Pagans and Lindsay Gryphons are playing a special show match against the Newfoundland Rock ‘A’ squad.    The Barbarian side has been selected by the club head coaches and Chris Silverthorn, head coach of the Ontario Blues .     Karen Lozada is the appointed Referee  and AR’s Andrew Hosie and Amy Murray on touch. The kick off for the match will be 6.00pm.
